Positive Behavior and Social Emotional Support During COVID-19
Covid 19 Update:
At Newcastle my role is to support staff and students in creating positive and predictable learning environments that promote positive relationships and support student academic, social, and emotional learning experiences .
As we begin this new journey into digital communication and resources, I will be shifting my role to offer continued support in the work you are doing at home.
In partnership with other support staff, I will be providing optional resources and activities that focus on supporting the family as a whole. I am also available to answer questions and support as needed, especially within establishing routines, encouraging independence, positive behavior reinforcement, home expectations around academics and work-time, etc. Please feel reach to reach out with your questions and concerns!
Warmly,
Alexandra Norton
